With the coming of Spring, there is a palpable feeling of light at the end of the tunnel, with Covid vaccines more accessible to a broader age range in our area. Throughout the pandemic, many real estate agents have felt the fear of exposure to the virus at each in-person appointment. Vigilance for the safety of ourselves and our contacts continues, as does the robust market that rose in the late Spring of 2020 of home buyers seeking a special place on Shelter Island.

With limited inventory and pent up demand to purchase, multiple offers have become commonplace, and with a spill-over effect to vacant land listings, many of which have been on the market for five years or more. Here are selected properties that sold from 12/1/20 to the present:
